Up to $250 list. Fewer buttons to push to make more complicated things to happen: hook to internet by your computer, enter in your model numbers for your components, then answer a few easy questions about how you "Watch TV" or "Watch a DVD." You'll be controlling even the most complex system without any of the hassles of elaborate macro-programming. Very cool. If you have 8 remotes and keep losing one or more, this might be best of the accessories to have.
Acoustic ControlPrepared wall panels can be purchased for taming the harshest acoustic. Surfaces vary in design and construction, from plastics through woods. Some panels are primarily for absorption (not for truly low bass notes), some for diffusion; some handle both jobs.

Hint:For home theater, you may seat yourself up against the rear wall. Many do. But for MUSIC - if you want a dual use room, seating with your back against the wall isn't ideal. You should be several feet away. Just know this as you plan.
